You can now add custom tracking tags to your Sharesly pages!

You can now add custom tracking tags / pixels to your Sharesly pages! These help you monitor and boost your marketing campaigns. This is some pretty powerful stuff if used correctly.

Currently we support:

  • Google AdWords Conversions
  • Google AdWords Remarketing
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Google Analytics
  • Facebook Custom Audiences
  • Twitter Remarketing

Here's how to get started:

Go to your Add Sharesly page

After filling out all the normal fields, head over to the "Advanced" tab, and choose which Tracking Tag type you want to add:

For this example, I'll be using a Google AdWords Remarketing tag. If you aren't familiar with remarketing, you can learn more about it here. This infographic (provided by Google) does a great job of explaining how powerful this marketing technique can be:

How Remarketing Works

Get your AdWords Remarketing code

I head over to Google AdWords and grab my remarketing tag code so I can find the Tracking ID (instructions to do this are here).

Here's what the remarketing code generally looks like:

Enter your Tracking ID in Sharesly

Then back on the Sharesly "Advanced" tab, I enter the Google AdWords code Tracking ID

Promote your Sharesly page, and build your Remarketing list

After saving my new Sharesly page, I can now promote my unique shares.ly URL all over the place. And whoever visits the page will have a cookie saved on their computer, so you can target AdWords campaigns specifically for them. How cool is that?
